Sir,

The truth appears to suffer over Eagle Star’s attempts to develop School Wood, as the following examples illustrate.

SNH staff made a written statement about a scarcity of dwarf shrubs in School Wood which was incorrect and misleading.

Eagle Star’s Nicholas Woolley told the press he was publicly asked about his position on the board of English Nature at public meetings in Nethybridge. I attended these meetings and am certain he was not asked this.

Phil Ratcliffe, SNH West board member and Deer Commission for Scotland board member, publicly stated to a community council meeting he was an independent ecologist, when in fact he was on the payroll of Bidwells, agents for Eagle Star.
